Leadership at Calvary Springfield

  • Greg Gaumer | Staff Pastor

    Gregarious · Visionary · Committed to Truth · Faithful · Encouraging · Sincere · Humorous · Courageous

Greg serves as a pastor at Calvary Springfield. He and his wife, Chenille, are Springfield natives who returned home in 2010 after Greg attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. With the support of two sending churches and a church planting team, they launched Calvary in 2012. They have four kids: Ethan, Gabriela, Malachi, and Olivia. When he isn’t preaching, meeting, or cheering on the kids, Greg is usually on the pickleball court, convincing himself it still counts as exercise.

  • Tony Evans | Staff Pastor

    Diligent · Humorous · Faithful · Kind-Hearted · Generous

Tony is married to Valerie, and they have four children: Lucy, Calla, Seeley, and Rose. The family has been part of Calvary since 2015, and Tony has served as a pastor since 2021. They love this people called Calvary. On weekends, they enjoy riding dirt bikes, watching Chili Bowls, and tinkering in his big shop in the back forty.

  • Matt Butler | Pastor

    Meticulous · Faithful · Gentle · Humble · Kind

Matt likes Greek, the Chiefs, golf, and chorizo, not necessarily in that order.

  • Brandon Stiko | Pastor

Gentle Giant · Committed to Truth · Thoughtful · Generous · Loving · Faithful

Brandon and his wife, Jennifer, met and married in 2009 at his first church home and her first church plant. Since then, God has led them through several young church plants and various degrees, and has grown in them a love for discipleship and counseling. They have four children: Amoriyah, Noelle, Sarallah, and Augustine. The family loves reading, movies, parks (national and amusement), and wrestling. Brandon collects too many things, knows just enough about each to be mildly obnoxious, and occasionally pretends to be a fisherman, hunter, camper, runner, and writer.

    Prayerful · Wise · Kind · Generous · Faithful

They have three children and a small farm with goats and chickens, where he spends most of his free time.

  • Gideon Walker | Deacon

Wise Beyond His Years · Kind and Gentle · Humble · Sincere · Seeks Truth · Meticulous

Gideon serves as chair of the deacons, a role that suits his love of organizing, scheduling, spreadsheets, and note-taking. A web developer, he enjoys using digital tools to carry out the vision of the church. In his free time, he plays with his kids, reads, gardens, and tries to build things.
